I really hate that while CEC works in general, you cannot really use it in SPMC/Kodi because the CEC commands stay at a OS level and SPMC/Kodi only see a generic input. This is really an issue because you can't use your TV remote for bringing up the options menu, selecting subtitles, audio etc. Anyone who has previously used CEC with a device running Kodi directly knows what is missing
